At 1757, the armies from England and France are fighting in the North America. It was called “The seven years war”. The reward was the land.
Both countries was searching allies to help at the war. The place had many Indian tribes. The Indians were independents, they lived alone for thousand years. They got their food from the land. They caught fish in the rivers. They hunted deer, bears and birds in the forests. They made clothes from the animals skins.
The Indians were very happy with their lives.
At first these Indians worked for the English people, picking up resources for the England. But with the invasion of the French soldiers, the Indians became soldiers to fight against one of these countries. The Mohawks were the bigger allied of England and the Hurons were fighting for the French.
One tribe that wasn’t involved in the war, were the Mohicans. They were the oldest tribe in the land, and the biggest too. But at that time, were only two Mohicans (the all tribe were killed by the English’s soldiers). A tribe that didn’t have choice, it was a really massacre. Then, last only two Mohicans. These Mohicans had a mission to continue with the Mohican’s blood. But they were killed at the war. Again, they didn’t have choice, they weren’t fighting at the war, they were just defending themselves. The biggest Tribe of the England colony were destroyed with any kind of sense.

It´s forever
There are many proofs that tattoos were made in 4000 b.C ,so it isn´t a rencent thing,in the Middle Age the Pope prohibited tattos,he said that it was devil´s thing, but the reason that made him to prohibit was that he didn´t wanted people to follow other religions because in some of them tattos were part of the ritual. Tattos got real popular in the years of 1700 between the mariners that went to the islands of the pacific like Samoa , New Zeland and etc...
In nowadays some people still thinking that tatoos are a bad thing and that the tattooeds are criminals, bad persons, these people are very wrong about it, they don´t see that tattoos have many meanings, and are a way to remember a person or something special ,it´s like a painting the difference is that one is in a board and the other is in the skin and it´s forever.

Funny day
Well, I have a friend called Gabriela, that lives here, in Manaus, but she is from São Paulo, like me. Every holliday, we go there to visit our family and pass the Christmans and the New Year together.
Last year, we were in São Paulo and I called her to know where she was to meet her and do something interesting... so, we met in Hoppi Hari, and spent all day together. In the park, she wantted to go to the "Elevador" with me, but I was afraid. So, she talked for a long time to convince me to go there and she got it. So, we went to the file and waited. When we sat down on the "Elevador's chair" and it locked, she started to scream: "I wanna get out! I wanna get out!" and I started to laught and I said: "shut up Gabi, you wanted to go there, now you'll do that!" and she laughted and took my hand. When she got out to this place, she was shaking and laughting, like me.
This was a really good day and I'll never forget it!

Virtual Relationships
People say any kind of virtual relationship doesn't exist. They say is dangerous and all of us have to avoid this kind of situation. I agree in part with what they say, I think in some cases can be dangerous because people don't beware of what they do and with whom they talk. But on the other hand, I disagree with all other aspects. Virtual relationships are maintained between two or more people, people who really exist and are expressing and sharing their emotions with you, but at a distance. It's possible that people become good friends, become lovers and also get to know each other just talking, after all, today are so many facilities which reduce the distances. Of course that these facilities don't solve the problem, but help.
But most of society doesn't think that way, and that's something wich will only change with time, or not.

Oh, well, wherever, wherever you are...
So... now I have nothing to do and have nothing to talk about , I will writte a little of the history of Iron Maiden.
The band was created in 1979, when the style in evidence was the punk, but they remained firm on the path that they had chosen starting The New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
The original members of the band were Steve Harris (bass), Dave Murray (lead guitar), Paul Di'Anno (lead vocals) and Doug Sampson (drums). Later Doug Sampson (drums) left the band because of health problems, he was substituted by Clive Burr, and a second guitarist (Dennis Straton) is added.
With this formation they record Iron Maiden, their first album, with prominence for these songs: Iron Maiden (a kind of "hymn of the band"), Running Free and Phanton of the Opera. After this work, Dennis Straton (lead guitar) left the band and Adrian Smith enters in his place.
In 1981, is launched the album Killers. This aldum shows the marcante indentity of the pair made by Adrian and Dave on the guitars, with promenence for these songs: Wrathchild, Murders in the Rue Morgue, Killers and Prodigal Son.
After Iron Maiden's first world tour, Paul Di'Anno (lead vocals) left the band. And then enters Bruce Dickinson in his place. The voice, charisma and stage's presence of Bruce infected the fans.
With Bruce they launched the polemic album The Number of The Beast. This album saled more than 2 million copies and is considered one of the best albums of heavy metal already launched, with prominence for these songs: The Number of the Beast, Children of the Damned, The Prisioner, 22 Acacia Avenue, Run to the Hills and Hallowed Be Thy Name.
After this work the band was accused of being satanic and was hindered of playing in some places but, if read the lyrics, you will realize that is about an alert against something illicit and strange.
In 1983, Clive Burr (drums) left the band. In his place Nicko Mcbrain enters in the band that launchs the album Piece of Mind in the same tear. At this time the band was already known as one of the greatest bands of bands of heavy metal of all times. Prominence for these songs: Where Eagles Dare, Revelations, Flight of Icarus, Die With Your Boots On and The Trooper.
In 1984, they launch the album Powerslave. Prominence for these songs: Aces High, Two Minutes to Midnight, Powerslave and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
In 1985, Iron Maiden visits Brazil for the first time, in Rock in Rio.
In 1986, is launched the album Somewhere in Time. This time the band used synthetizers, it let the sound of the band "cleaner". Prominence for these songs: Wasted Years (my favorite song), Sea of Madness, Heaven Can Wait, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, Stranger in a Strange Land, Déjà Vu and Alexander the Great (356-323 B.C.).
In 1988, they launch the album Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. It was the first conceptual album of the band, the lyrics tell a prophet's attempt to warn the inhabitants of a place of the imminent destruction of it. Prominence for these songs: Moonchild, Infinite Dreams, Can I Play With Madness, The Evil That Men Do, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, The Prophecy, The Clairvoyant and Only the Good Die Young.
After this work Adrian Smith (lead guitar) left the band and Jenick Gers substituted him.
In 1990, is launched the album No Prayer for the Dying. Prominence for these songs: Tailgunner, Holy Smoke, No prayer for the Dying, Fates Warning, Hooks in You and Bring Your Daughter... To the Slaughter.
In 1992, is launched the album Fear of the Dark. Prominence for these songs: Be Quick or Be Dead, From Here to Eternity, Afraid to Shoot Strangers, Childhood's End , Wasting Love, Chains of Misery, Weekend Warrior and Fear of the Dark.
After this work, for desperation of the fans, Bruce Dickinson (lead vocals) left the band. In his place enters Blaze Bayle.

In 1998, the band visits Brazil another time and launched the album Virtual XI. Prominence for these songs: Futureal, Angel and the Gambler, The Clansman, The Educated Fool and Como Estais, Amigo.

Sorry for the size of the test, but as I have nothing better to do I wasted all the day doing that...

My friend and me
I was thinking about what to write in this blog, and then I remember that I have a story about a friend of mine.
So,he was like my brother, and we didn't use to see each other everytime, but you know that person who will always be there when you need? That is definitely him.
Six months ago,we were talking on the phone, and then he turn to me and said ''Lorena,I'm moving away,I'm going to spend six months on USA studying''.In the first moment after that I started to cry,not only because I was gonna miss him,but because I was afraid that our friendship change because of the distance and that stuff. But then I though about it and said that he should go and enjoy,it was a life opportunity and just couldn't miss that.
When he finally moved,I felt like I was lost without him...then he started to connect on the MSN and I felt like he was here in Manaus.A month ago he called me and it really felt like he was here!
We talk every day and nothing change (Thank God)
